Sam Newman practices law on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His legal experience includes extensive work in workers' compensation law, as well as experience in personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, appellate practice, construction law, general business law, wills and estates, family law, and intellectual property. He was recently appointed by the Hancock County Youth Court as parent defender.
Sam earned his undergraduate degree in marketing from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. He later earned his J. D., cum laude, from the Mississippi College School of Law. While in law school he interned as a guardian ad litem and also served in the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office.
While maintaining a full-time law practice, Sam also performs frequently across the South with his band, Mississippi Moonlight -- an apt example of the work-life balance to which so many lawyers aspire!
