Overview
Taught from both Plaintiff and Defense perspectives, this course looks at several crucial aspects of the jury trial, including:
- The art of jury selection
- Common assumptions (and misconceptions) about the ideal jury profile
- Effective use of mock juries -- in the right case
- Keeping the jury "pure" - new trends in restricting a juror's use of social media
- Effective use of motions in limine and jury polling
- Demonstrative evidence and other methods of keeping the jury's attention
