An active litigator for over 31 years in Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi, Keith D. Obert has become a popular CLE presenter in recent years, and his extensive courtroom experience in several different states brings a unique breadth to his lectures.
A native of Memphis, Keith currently is the primary litigation attorney for his firm, practicing heavily in the defense of vehicular accidents, premises liability claims, products liability, toxic torts, insurance agent errors and omission claims, direct insurance carrier actions with an emphasis in bad faith, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and insurance coverage disputes.
His eclectic trial experience over the years enables Mr. Obert to provide a balanced look at current issues from both plaintiff and defense perspectives. In addition, his active work as a licensed mediator in recent years accentuates his ability to offer helpful hints to both plaintiff and defense counsel.
Mr. Obert received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
