Mavanee Bear has been practicing domestic relations law in Alabama since 1986. Nee earned her undergraduate degree at the University of South Alabama and then completed her law degree at the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She has handled hundreds of complex family law cases and has also handled appellate work in the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Ms. Bear taught at the Birmingham School of Law from 2003 through 2016 and is a former Referee/Special Master. In 2007, as plaintiff's counsel, she received one of the top ten jury verdicts in Alabama.
