Jury Trials: New Realities (PRE-SALE: Available for viewing May 15, 2026)
This seminar is listed for pre-sale! Click here for more info.
Overview
Number One - Jury trials are not as common as they were 20 years ago.
Number Two - Jurors are different in many ways, due in large part to the fact that both lawyers and jurors have instant access to a world of information with a quick scroll through a smartphone internet search
Number Three - Judicial authorities around the country are increasingly re-thinking the passive role of jurors (even to the point of permitting jurors to pose questions to trial witnesses in certain circumstances).
This course examines these developments -- and much more -- as we seek to make sense of the new realities of the courtroom.
