Adam B. Kilgore is recognized nationally as an authority on issues of lawyer ethics and professionalism.  For over 20 years he served as General Counsel of The Mississippi Bar and also collaborated with ethics enforcement authorities across the nation.

Adam received his undergraduate and law degrees from Mississippi College.  Upon graduating from law school, he worked for over a year as law clerk to a State Supreme Court Chief Justice.  Adam then entered private practice in a firm engaged in insurance defense, personal injury litigation, and real estate work.

In 2002 he began working in the General Counsel's Office of The Mississippi Bar, where he coordinated the disposition of ethics complaints against lawyers.  He retired from the Bar in December 2024 and is now engaged in a private law practice and consults nationwide on ethics issues.
