Regulatory Takings of Property
Overview
A review of the fascinating case law that has grown out of the "takings" clause of the Fifth Amendment. Specifically, this course examines the evolution of the case law that defines when a government's regulation of private property becomes so excessive, that it constitutes a "taking by over-regulation" that requires governmental compensation.
