Overview

This new course takes a practical look at the growing issue of mental health issues within the legal profession, including the epidemic of practicing lawyers who are grappling with depression, anxiety, addiction, and overall dissatisfaction with their careers.

Supplemented with conversations with a counseling psychologist and Lawyer Assistance officials, Professor and long-time attorney Billy Newman analogizes these pressing concerns with stories of past U. S. Presidents who have grappled with their own mental health.
