COVID Announcement Regarding In-Person Seminars in 2021:

Tennessee Supreme Court waives In-Person CLE requirement for 2021 & 2022:

Due to continuing difficulties associated with the pandemic, the Tennessee Supreme Court has suspended – for 2021 and 2022 – the usual 7-hour In-Person CLE requirement. This means that, for 2021 and 2022, Tennessee attorneys can earn all 15 hours of CLE through pre-recorded Online On-Demand CLE courses if they desire. In addition, Live CLE Webcasts (or a combination of Live Webcasts and On-Demand CLE) also remain an option for Tennessee attorneys.

Barristers has responded to this change:

Barristers has determined that there is not sufficient attorney demand for In-Person seminars so long as they are not mandatory. For that reason, we will not be offering our usual lineup of In-Person seminars in 2021. Hopefully, as things slowly get back to normal in 2022, more and more attorneys will want to return to the unique experience of In-Person seminars. (We miss the personal interaction of In-Person seminars, and we plan to restore our lineup of face-to-face events as soon the demand becomes sufficient.)

In the meantime, rest assured that all of our usual Barristers content is now available in On-Demand Bundles and/or Live Webcasts (including our annual Recent Developments in Tennessee Law course). Check the "CLE On-Demand" and "Live Webcasts" pages of this website for detailed information on all of our Tennessee Online CLE offerings for 2021.
